Greece's IBAN has 27 characters in the format GRkk BBBS SSSC CCCC CCCC CCCC CCC. After GR and the check digits come a 3-digit bank code (e.g. 011 for the National Bank of Greece, 014 for Alpha Bank, 026 for Eurobank), a 4-digit branch code and the 16-character account number. For payments from EU/EEA banks to Greece, required routing details depend on the bank, currency and route; check them in advance with your bank. For clubs or older accounts the legacy 16-digit account number (DIAS) is sometimes still quoted separately, but it is fully contained in the IBAN from position 12 onward.
