IBAN Structure Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein's IBAN has 21 characters in the format LIkk BBBB BCCC CCCC CCCC C — structurally identical to the Swiss IBAN (same layout, different country prefix). After LI and two check digits come a 5-digit bank clearing code and the 12-character account identifier. Liechtenstein is part of SEPA through the EEA but, like Switzerland, uses the Swiss franc (CHF). As a small but active banking centre, it hosts many private banks and asset managers.
