The Netherlands' IBAN has 18 characters, following the pattern NLkk BBBB CCCC CCCC CC. After NL and two check digits come a 4-letter bank code (e.g. INGB for ING, RABO for Rabobank, ABNA for ABN AMRO) and the 10-digit account number. The Netherlands switched to the IBAN in 2014 with the rest of SEPA and carries its 4-letter bank code as part of the IBAN.
